Are you bugged by mosquitos?  The wet spring and summer has produced a bumper crop of all kinds of pests.  It’s easy to protect your family with products from Ray Hunter Garden Shop.  Mosquito Beater from Bonide is easy to spray with your garden hose onto plants and foliage for long-lasting results.

Protect your garden from the Viburnum Leaf Beetle this summer! The viburnum leaf beetle, Pyrrhalta viburni (Paykull), is an invasive, non-native beetle that first appeared in New York along Lake Ontario in 1996, and has steadily spread. It is a voracious eater that can defoliate viburnum shrubs entirely. Plants may die after two or three years of heavy infestation. Learn more about these beetles here. Ray Hunter carries a wide variety of products to help eliminate these pests, including Bonide Brand Japanese Beetle Killer, Ferti-Lome Borer, Bagworm, Tent Caterpillar & Leafminer Spray, and Ferti-Lome Systemic Insect Spray. Stop by our Garden Center today to stock up and protect your garden!

This spring we will also be carrying a delicious line of Homegrown Gourmet vegetables and seeds. Add a little zest to your next culinary creation with herbs freshly picked from your own garden. Or create a naturally delicious side dish of sun-ripened vegetables that you have grown yourself. There’s nothing more gratifying than enjoying the naturally fresh flavor of homegrown cooking.
